Villa Mangiacane is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Chianti region, where K-OVER had the honor of collaborating closely. Built by the Machiavelli family, this historic villa is an integral part of Florence’s rich heritage. The property is adorned with artifacts and artwork from around the globe, boasting 16th-century frescoes that captivate all who visit. Today, Villa Mangiacane operates as an exclusive boutique hotel, offering only 10 rooms. This setup allows a single group of travelers to book the entire facility, creating a private ‘home away from home’ atmosphere where all amenities are exclusively theirs to enjoy.

In 2019, the villa was reserved for the entire summer by a family from America who came to celebrate their daughter’s wedding in the enchanting surroundings of Florence. Seizing this opportunity, the owners wanted to provide a thoughtful and luxurious gift. They chose a K-OVER as a unique and memorable present that the family could use to toast at the wedding and cherish forever.
The family highly appreciated this thoughtful gesture. The intent of the villa’s management to enhance their guests’ experience was clearly recognized, and the family promised to use the K-OVER for all their significant celebrations in the future.
The K-OVER was meticulously handcrafted by Marco Fedi, employing techniques such as embossing, chiselling, and engraving. Its brilliant surface features two dogs, artistically represented atop two columns near the villa’s entrance gate. The rest of the K-OVER boasts a sophisticated diamond finish, and it is elegantly completed with the engraving of ‘Villa Mangiacane’ at its base, adding a personal touch that ties back to the villa’s illustrious identity and legacy.
