Villa Cora is an exquisite and historic villa nestled in one of the most prestigious areas of Florence near Piazzale Michelangelo. Initially commissioned by Baron Gustave Oppenheim and later acquired by Egidio Cora, it has been transformed into a 5-star hotel celebrated for its stunning interiors and the peaceful ambiance of its surroundings.
At K-OVER, we had been developing a new line of bespoke wine and champagne covers and were searching for the perfect occasion to debut this innovative offering. When we met the owner of Villa Cora, it seemed like the perfect opportunity. We proposed creating a special K-OVER to celebrate the grand reopening of the hotel following its extensive renovations. The owner was very excited about the idea and eager to see the outcome. This K-OVER would be the inaugural piece in our bespoke collection.
Our skilled craftsman, Marco Fedi, personally visited the villa to ensure a precise and detailed representation of the building. The resulting K-OVER captures the facade of the villa with remarkable accuracy, including the pond, stairs, and other architectural features, all meticulously placed and proportioned.
Today, the K-OVER is displayed in the private office of the manager and is featured at special events. Crafted from solid 999% silver, employing techniques such as embossing and chiseling, the villa is beautifully depicted in shining silver, while the remainder of the cover boasts an elegant diamond finish. This unique piece not only commemorates the reopening of Villa Cora but also highlights the craftsmanship and bespoke capabilities of K-OVER.

K-OVER is reusable, you can easily change the bottle by unscrewing the cap at the bottom. Each champagne cover is unique and has only been displayed at artistic and cultural events, or private luxury launches. K-OVERs are compatible with champagne bottles such as Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Louis Roederer Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper, Perrier Jouet, Taittinger, G. H Mumm, Ferrari, and Berlucchi.
All our champagne and wine covers are crafted from solid 999/°° silver, unlike the typical use of sterling silver in silverware. This unique choice is driven by three compelling reasons, we aim to provide our customers with a high-value and unique product. Pure silver’s resistance to oxidation makes it easier to clean and polish. Finally, the antibacterial properties of silver ensure it’s safe for use with food and beverages.
