Mr. Nigel, an Englishman residing in the stunning Côte d’Azur in France, has turned his passion for wine into a lifestyle, owning and operating a winery. He approached us with a poignant inquiry: “How can you capture the two most important things in my life—my beloved dog Soggy and wine—in a unique piece?” At K-OVER, our answer was clear and reflected what we do best—crafting exquisite champagne bottle covers.

The K-OVER was meticulously crafted by Marco Fedi from 999 pure silver, utilizing techniques such as embossing, chiselling, and engraving. The master silversmith relied solely on an image of Soggy to design the front of the cover, which features a shiny finish portraying the image of the dog, while the rest of the cover boasts a sophisticated diamond finish. Furthermore, Marco engraved the name ‘Soggy’ beneath the dog’s likeness.

Today, Mr. Nigel proudly displays his K-OVER at home. It has become a focal point of discussions and gatherings, where champagne and wine are always integral to the conversation. This piece not only immortalizes Mr. Nigel’s passions but also enhances the celebratory spirit of his home.

K-OVER is reusable, you can easily change the bottle by unscrewing the cap at the bottom. Each champagne cover is unique and has only been displayed at artistic and cultural events, or private luxury launches. K-OVERs are compatible with champagne bottles such as Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Louis Roederer Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper, Perrier Jouet, Taittinger, G. H Mumm, Ferrari, and Berlucchi.

All our champagne and wine covers are crafted from solid 999/°° silver, unlike the typical use of sterling silver in silverware. This unique choice is driven by three compelling reasons, we aim to provide our customers with a high-value and unique product. Pure silver’s resistance to oxidation makes it easier to clean and polish. Finally, the antibacterial properties of silver ensure it’s safe for use with food and beverages.
