This champagne K-Over belongs to the collection Works of Art.
The K-Over was realized by a Florentine artist who wanted to reproduce a tropical aquarium.
He chiseled fishes, crabs, jellyfishes and corals on a pure silver 999/°° K-OVER.
The K-Over has been completely handcrafted by Giuliano Foglia and it is also important to underline the
three-dimensional effect realized in chiseling all the components.
Further, the K-over was painted with blue varnish to create a warmer atmosphere. The combination of
chiseling and painting is an absolute novelty.

Artist information
Giuliano Foglia was born in 1947 in Florence. In the ‘60s, despite his young age, Giuliano started working with his father in the family’s workshop. There, he learned how to design, overhang and chisel. During his long career he realized Madonne, eighteenth-century scenes and fountains. His masterpieces are Calice of the Saint Galgano and the Cups for San Marino Grand Prix (F1). Thanks to his lifelong experience he is now considered to be one of the best chisels in Italy. He has been recently working with K-Over for the project: works of Art.

Technical features
K-OVER is a brand of P.M.P Firenze, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry. Working in this market for such a long period enabled us to develop a completely new product, a new glacette. Indeed, our covers can maintain your precious bottles of champagne at fresh. The cover can be used as many times as you want: by unscrewing the cap at the bottom of the cover it is possible to change the champagne. All covers are new and have only been exhibited in public events. Covers are suitable for champenoise bottles such as: Moet Et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper, Perrier Jouet, Taittinger, Mumm, Ferrari, Berlucchi.
All our champagne covers are produced in solid silver 999/°°. The usage of pure material is a novelty: as a matter of fact, silverware is usually produced in sterling silver. Our choice can be explained by three reasons. Firstly, we want to provide a high valuable product to our customers. Secondly, pure silver is hard to oxidise, so that it is easier to be cleaned. Last but not least, silver has an antibacterial property which make it safe.
