This champagne cover is a jewel to enrich your table. Indeed, the artist transformed our pure silver 999/°° K-OVER into a precious treasure chest to keep your bottle of champagne cold. The artist took inspiration from the well-known Fabergé Egg and perfectly managed to reproduce the beauty and refinement of the eggs produced by the House of Fabergé. In addition, egg is the symbolises life; we hope that our customer would use our K-OVER to celebrate the most important moments of their life.
The cover has been completely handcrafted by Stefano Vigni, a Florentine master goldsmith and a “Fabergé workmaster”. The production process took several months and the techniques used are overhang, chasing and painting. The core value of the product is given by its artistic perfection. Indeed, the artist worked a single piece of silver and the complexity of the task was increased by the fact that the reverse side is missing. It is also important to underline the great attention in chiseling geometrical designs. In the future, it will be hard to find such a talented artist
Upon request it is possible to substitute the stones with diamonds, emeralds, rubies, etc.
Artist information
Stefano Vigni was born in Florence in 1952. Very interested in the world of art, he started working when he was only 14 years old. At the beginning of his career, he worked as an apprentice in the best Florentine workshops and made important works for clients such as Tiffany and Bulgari. Stefano was later appointed “Fabergé WorkMaster”. He has been working with K-OVER on the Work of Art project.
