The cover was handcrafted by Lorenzo Foglia, a master goldsmith based in Florence. The creation of this piece spanned several months, involving meticulous techniques such as overhang and chasing. The artist started with a single cylindrical piece of silver, working from the inside to intricately chisel each detail of the symbolic faces. This inside-out approach significantly enhanced the complexity of the task, emphasizing the artisan’s dedication to achieving artistic perfection.
